Theresa Corballis

Theresa is a digital technology leader, dedicated to the execution and growth of innovation for ICT businesses. She is the Business Lead for the Communications and Media Solutions Group for Australia and New Zealand of Hewlett Packard Enterprise where she works with Media and Communication Providers to better align their businesses with Digital offerings and analytics. Prior to her current role she was the Ericsson Principal Account and Country Manager in New Zealand managing the full strategy, P&L and portfolio for Ericsson sales, marketing and delivery for the NZ Market. Theresa is also the founder and Director of Monetize Ltd transforming Communication Provider Monetization, Cloud NFV, IoT, Analytics, and Digital User Experience through creative policy solution delivery.

She is a veteran of the Technology Industry: she spent 10 years at Cisco where she ran BD for Cisco’s Mobility and Big Data monetization business developing business model constructs and analytics strategies for Carrier Wi-Fi and Licensed Small Cells utilized for IoT through mobile ecosystem partners Globally. Theresa began her career as the Telecommunications Analyst for the US Department of Commerce at the US Consulate in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  She then went on to join various Silicon Valley companies holding marketing, business development and sales management positions and leading Sales Consultant teams in the LATAM region.

Theresa is a seasoned leader focusing her expertise in management, technology and governance and is a member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand as well as a member of the SUPERdiverse Women Leadership Council NZ. She is a Board member of TUANZ the Digital User Association of NZ and is the Ambassador to New Zealand for Technovation, the world’s largest global tech entrepreneurship program for girls developing key 21st century coding and digital skills, competencies and confidence to solve global community problems. She is a graduate of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, where she earned an MBA in International Business in residence at the Universidade de São Paulo, São Paulo Brazil. She also holds an MA in Spanish Literature and Linguistics which she earned in residence in San Sebastian, Spain and St Jean de Luz France. Theresa speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese and is conversant in French.
