Emerging Leader in Digital Technology 2020

This award is for the individual who within their first 10 years of their career has shown leadership beyond their formal role.  This might be within the organisation that they are employed, may involve creating their own organisation, providing leadership in a community organisation, or general contribution to their industry.

Eligiblity

This award is open to individuals who are within the first 10 years of their career in the digital technology field.

Entry Criteria

Each award application must begin with a brief biography of the individual being nominated. This will allow judges to understand the nominees level of experience in their career to date.  (maximum 500 word count).

Entries (maximum 1,500 word count excluding testimonials) will then be assessed against the following criteria:

1. Leadership (40%)
How have the nominee demonstrated practical leadership in different environments which is beyond the expectations of their experience or training.

2. Outcomes and Results (30%)
What extraordinary outcomes or results have been achieved by the nominee in the industry or related community organisation.  

3. Growth in non-technical skills (20%)
How has the nominee developed their non-technical traits including problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate well with all stakeholders.

4. Testimonials (10%)
Please provide up to three testimonials (maximum 250 word count per testimonial) from consumer, industry commentators or business customers why your service should win over and above other entrants.

Please read this information thoroughly before completing the online entry template. The 2020 awards will be open for entry on 29th June 2020, and must be submitted via the online entry portal.

General Conditions of Entry:

All sections of the entry must be completed and submitted in writing and comply with required entry templates, word limits and other guidelines specified by Broadband Compare.

Candidates should ensure that information provided is relevant and sufficient to allow the judges to properly assess their entry.

All information provided will be kept confidential by Broadband Compare and the judging panel.

Entrants accept that their details may be used in publicity of the awards.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Judges reserve the right to re-allocate entries to alternative, more appropriate, categories.

How to enter

Each entry costs $99 + GST. There is no limit to the number of categories you enter. You will be invoiced for your entries upon confirmed submission.

Regardless of the size or profitability of your business within the NZ telecommunications industry, there is a category to suit you. The only challenge is choosing the category that gives you the best chance of success. Information available at https://www.broadbandawards.co.nz/categories.php

The best advice is to start your entry early so that you can continue to refine your submission prior to the deadline date of 16:00 on 6 August 2020. Just make sure you register and submit your entry and pay prior to this deadline to ensure your entry is valid. You need to submit your completed entry online via the awards portal site at https://www.judgify.me/broadbandawards2020  

This is what will be submitted to the judges as your final entry and must include any supplementary material that you feel will help the judges to assess your entries.

When you enter your registration details on the Broadband Awards website, an invoice will be generated and emailed to you. This can be paid via direct payment to our bank account.
