Broadband Compare People's Choice Award 2019

This award is for the Internet Service Provider who is voted the best overall Broadband service provider in New Zealand by the New Zealand public for 2019.

The winner of this award will be identified primarily through Public Vote on a dedicated voting page within the Broadband Compare website.  Additional points will be awarded based upon detailed analysis of Broadband Compare reviews, the Broadband Compare Rating and online market research conducted by independent online research agency Tactix as part of the Broadband Pulse market research surveys that interview over 500 NZ consumers every month.

The likely winner of the People’s Choice award will be a brand that stands out in terms of customer satisfaction, value for money, technical consistency and advocacy.


An entry in this category will be related to the provision of Broadband Services delivered in New Zealand within the 12 month period 1st September 2018 to 31st August 2019.

Judging Criteria:

This award category can not be entered.

The judges will select the People’s Choice Award winner after a vote count combined with analysis of statistics and research collected by independent agency Tactix.

  2. Broadband Compare Reviews - 10%
  3. Detailed Customer Survey - 10%
  4. Net Promoter Score - 10%

All sections of the entry must be completed and submitted in writing and comply with required entry templates, word limits and other guidelines specified by Broadband Compare.

Candidates should ensure that information provided is relevant and sufficient to allow the judges to properly assess their entry.

All information provided will be kept confidential by Broadband Compare and the judging panel.

Entrants accept that their details may be used in publicity of the awards.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Judges reserve the right to re-allocate entries to alternative, more appropriate, categories.

Regardless of the size or profitability of your business within the NZ telecommunications industry, there is a category to suit you. The only challenge is choosing the category that gives you the best chance of success. Information available at

The best advice is to start your entry early so that you can continue to refine your submission prior to the deadline date of 18:00 on 17 September 2018. Just make sure you register and submit your entry and pay prior to this deadline to ensure your entry is valid. You need to submit your completed entry online via the awards portal site. 

This is what will be submitted to the judges as your final entry and must include any supplementary material that you feel will help the judges to assess your entries.

When you enter your registration details on the Broadband Awards website, an invoice will be generated and emailed to you. This can be paid via direct payment to our bank account.
